Amy's dad, Aaron, got out of bed. He looked at the clock. 3:45 A.M. He took a shower and got dressed. He gently shook his wife, Marie, and told her to get up. She rubbed her eyes, and looked around. She saw Aaron walking around and realized she had to start getting ready. She turned over to look at the clock and it read, 4:00 A.M. She slowly got out of bed and started to get ready.

Jade's mom, Bridget was walking all around the house gathering things up to put in the van. She walked into her room and turned on the light. "Time to wake up!!" She said to her husband. He quickly sat up and jumped out of bed. He took a shower and when he got out it was 4:00 A.M. They had plenty of time to be ready. They planned to leave at 5:00.

Mike's alarm went off at 4:00 A.M. right in his ear. He had to lay right beside his night stand which was right where the alarm was, because he was a very deep sleeper. He tried to turn it off but instead knocked it over. He rolled over and noticed it was still going off. His room was really dark and he couldn't see a thing. He found his clock but couldn't find the button to turn it off, so he just unplugged it. He threw on some clothes and started to get his luggage ready.

Alex saw heard a knock on his door. It was his dad. He told him to wake up and Alex hopped out of bed. He looked at the clock. 4:10 A.M. He took a shower because he did every day and night for some reason. Nobody really knew why. It wasn't like he needed to or anything. After that he brought his luggage upstairs so Aaron could get it ready for the van.

Jennifer saw lights on outside her room. She sat up and screamed. Bridget dashed into her room. "What's wrong?" She gasped. Jennifer just smiled and happily said "Hanson. :)" Bridget started laughing and told her not to scare her like that. Jennifer got up and got dressed. She went to the bathroom and started doing her hair. She kept trying to do different things but nothing seemed to work.

Mike was ready to leave and woke up his mom. "Mom, I'm ready to leave." She looked up at him and stared at him. He got frustrated and went back to his room. He sat down and turned on the radio. Two minutes later he heard his mom getting up. He could drive, but if he drove there himself he would have to leave his car there the whole time. His parents didn't want him to leave his car there, so his mom offered to take him there.

Alex walked into Amy's room and turned on the lights. She didn't wake up. "WAKE UP!!!!!" He yelled. She opened her eyes and saw Alex leaning over her. She turned over and looked out the window. "It's dark outside. I can't get up." She closed her eyes and tried to go back to sleep. "Hanson," He whispered. She threw the covers off of her and got out of bed. "Oh Yeah!" She smiled but her eyes were still closed. She got dressed and brushed her hair and brought her luggage upstairs.

Jennifer pushed the door open to Jade's room. "Jade, how should I do my hair?" Jade didn't move. Jennifer grabbed the pillow she was sleeping on. That startled her, but before she could do anything, Jennifer hit her on the head with the pillow and left it there. She ran out of the room because she thought Jade would hurt her. Jade knew Jenni expected her to chase her, so instead she got up, locked the door, and got dressed. She left her hair down.

She walked out of her room to eat breakfast. She grabbed a bagel and Jenni slid in the kitchen. "How should I do my hair?" Jenni asked again. "We're driving the whole day. Leave it down." Jade looked at her watch. 4:50. "Mom!! We gotta go!" Her parents came to the front door and told Jenni and Jade to get in the van. They had already loaded it up.

Mike's mom came into Mike's room. "Are you ready?" She asked. "Yeah!" He got his luggage and a jacket and they got in the car and started to leave.

Alex was upstairs practicing the piano and heard a knock at the door. He got up and answered the door. It was Mike. "Set your stuff by the door." Alex said. He set his things down and they went down to his room.

Amy was waiting in the upstairs living room for Jade. She couldn't believe this was really happening. They were going to Tulsa!!! She heard a car pull up and looked out the window. "THEY'RE HERE!!!!" She shouted. She saw Jade get out of the car and run up to the door. Amy opened it and they started screaming. Marie and Aaron came out their room and told the girls to be quite. They went outside and Jade's parents got out of the car.

Amy's parents were helping Jade's parents load the rest of the luggage into the van. "Do you really need two suit cases?" Aaron asked. "Yes, I do." She happily answered. "Jade has two also." They all started laughing and Jade and Amy were giggling.

"Where are we sitting?" Amy asked with bright eyes. Neither of them were tired at all. "In the very, very back. But we have to sit with Jenni." "COOL!!!" They charged down the stairs with their funky clunky shoes. Amy told Alex and Mike they were leaving soon. They went in Amy's room and got the CD player that Crystal let them borrow. They went back upstairs and got in the van. "THIS IS SSSSOOOOO COOL!!!" Amy said looking overwhelmed.

Alex and Mike came outside and got in the van. They were sitting in front of Jade, Amy, and Jenni. "DAMN!! This van is flippin' huge." Mike laughed. Amy was playing with the curtains. She was easily amused and fascinated. "Where's all the luggage?" Amy asked. "It's on the top in the bed thing." "OH" Alex climbed over the seats and honked the horn. All their parents turned and looked at them. "They're just talking!!" Alex said getting angry.

He honked it two more times. Jade, Amy, and Jenni looked at each other and started laughing. Their parents came to the van and got in.

Aaron sat shotgun and Mark was driving. Amy and Jade's mom sat in the next row of seats. They finally left at 5:10. They got on the highway and Jade and Amy were wide awake.

They stopped at McDonald's for breakfast at 7:00. After they ate, they were on their way again. Jenni fell asleep, Alex and Mike started watching TV, and everyone else was just talking. Except Jade and Amy. They plugged their headphones into the CD player and started listening to Hanson.
