Amy was sitting in her room watching a recorded tape of Hanson on Regis and Kathy Lee. She was laughing at Zac as he said "Thank you man" when the phone rang. She answered it quickly and excitedly because she was beginning to get bored. On the other line was her best friend Jade. "Guess what?" Jade said almost out of breath. "What?" Amy asked. "My mom's sister is getting married and they live in Oklahoma. We're invited to the wedding and it's in TULSA!!!!" Jade screamed. "NO!!! I HATE YOU!!!" Amy said somewhat jokingly. Jade said more calmly, "But......YOU'RE INVITED!!!!" "AAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" Amy screamed. Hanson, Hanson, Hanson......Was all she was thinking about. " And my mom thought it would be fun for your whole family to go too!"

Jade and Amy's mom's were best friends since high school. They also used to work together but Jade's mom quit and started doing daycare. Their two family's had never done anything together and decided they should. They were going for a week and a half. "What would we do about transportation though?" Amy asked very confused. "Well my dad's going to borrow a van from his work. Ya know, one of those vans that have the curtains, TV, and the bed on top?" "I love those vans! They're SO FRESH!!!" Jade's dad is an auto mechanic. Their dad's were also best friends.

Amy ran into her brother's (Alex) room and told him the news. He was 17. He was playing the bass, something he was ALWAYS doing. Amy was SO excited but Alex didn't seem to care. Of course he agreed to go though. He'd do anything to get away from the house. He was also aloud to bring a friend because everybody knew he would get bored. He gets bored VERY easily. Amy BEGGED for him to bring his friend Mike. Amy and Jade thought he was SO incredibly nice and very cute. He finally agreed that he would ask Mike to come along.

She forced him to call Mike right away. He asked Mike and then there was a long pause. He heard his parents say no but he desperately wanted to go and he begged them. Finally, they told him he could go. Mike told Alex and they started to discuss some other things. Amy was tugging on Alex's shirt with questioning eyes and he shook his head yes. YES!!! She thought to herself. She walked in her Hanson poster filled room and plopped down on her bed. She let out a big satisfying sigh. She turned over and noticed her tape was still playing. She stopped it and started rewinding it back to Hanson so she could watch it again.
